The child’s first session at Pre-school will be for them to come along with their parent/carer for a short stay of 30 to 60 minutes.

They may be quite happy to be left alone for the next full session. However we want to ensure that new children feel safe and secure in their new environment when apart from parents/carers, so you are welcome to stay for as long as you and the Pre-school staff feel necessary.

Should a child find it difficult to be left alone we will work sensitively with the parent/carer in order to build up periods of absence at a suitable rate.

We are experienced in working in close liaison with professionals across the range of special needs, and we have an appointed Special Needs Co-ordinator within the group. If you would like to discuss the group’s ability to meet your own child’s special needs, please contact the Supervisor.
