There is an excellent relationship with Chrishall Primary School helped by the fact that our two halls are attached.

We are able to use the school playground for outside activities and have a scheduled time in the school hall for music and movement, drama and group games. Pre-school children are invited into the school for special occasions such as Harvest Festival and the Christmas production.

There are good links with the Reception Class Teacher. She makes a number of visits to Pre-school and the older children are invited into the Reception Class. Our supervisor liaises with the Reception Teacher on planning issues, child assessment and record keeping which provides good continuity across the Foundation Stage.

These links are beneficial not only to the children who go to Chrishall itself but also those who move onto other local Primary Schools.

It must be noted that attending the pre-school does not mean an automatic transfer on to Chrishall Primary School.
